This collection is all about things I love.

For me there is no reason why the everyday should not be beautiful. We spend most of our time in the kitchen not in great art galleries. There is huge pleasure in an elegantly designed product that is both functional and beautiful. The things we surround ourselves with should appeal to all the senses especially touch, sight and smell.

Lime Tree Design was started because a friend of mine pointed out it might be fun - and so it has proved to be. It also raises money for charities including Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK, Asthma UK, Children in Need, NSPCC, Rainbow Trust Children's Hospices, British Red Cross, Beaumond House Hospice and local charities. To date Lime Tree Design has donated more than £7,000 to charities.

My inspiration is wide and varied. It is my mother’s button box and the colours and textures of the vintage clothes she collected. It is the funky ‘60s prints which filled my childhood home and the vintage finds from the jumble sale.

On this website you will find original products that are either handmade or individual in design. Many are made by designer-makers or fair-trade cooperatives. I create a selection of items ranging from cushions & doorstops to bags & lavender bags using a mix of salvaged and vintage materials. I use some designer fabrics and some more work-a-day. I also sell design-led china, glass, accessories, jewellery, homeware, as well as vintage home. I have a selection of toys that rely on imagination and not batteries.

Here, you should find something for your best friend, your mother, your god-daughter and most importantly something for yourself.

To navigate this site simply click on the images on the home pages to take you to the different categories, click again on the sub-category pages and this will take you to the product pages.
