Shopping with Lime Tree Design should be a simple and enjoyable experience. It is fundamentally a personal service I offer and I believe most problems can be solved with an email or phone call. The following terms and conditions cover the most frequently asked questions.
At any point you can return to the home page by clicking on the logo. At the checkout you can amend quantities and delete items if necessary. You will also be asked to register with the site and give a few details that are needed to be able to complete the order. You will then be passed to the Secure Sage Pay site who will handle your credit/debit card payment or you can pay via Paypal. All financial information is encrypted and held offsite by them. Once payment has been completed a confirmation email will be sent to you. This confirms the items bought, delivery terms and returns policy. Goods will be dispatched generally the same or next working day. Small items are sent by Royal Mail, larger, bulky or fragile items by courier. If for some reason I am unable to do so I will contact you. If you would like your purchases gift wrapped or sent direct to a friend with a gift message that can be done.
All prices are stated inclusive of VAT and are in pounds sterling. Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages at the time the customer places the order.
Delivery is free to the UK. If you want to post next day express delivery to the UK there is a £6.50 charge. Saturday delivery is £11.50. International delivery is £8.50.
Delivery Timescales etc
Goods will be dispatched Royal Mail 1st class signed for orders on the same or next working day. If your goods are not in stock I will contact you and let you know an alternative delivery date. You have the option to cancel if you do not want to wait. If you need the goods urgently please contact me and I will do our best to help.
I only deliver to the UK free of charge.
Lime Tree Design takes privacy and internet security seriously. All financial transactions are encrypted and are not kept on this site. Lime Tree Design will not disclose customers’ information to third parties. Your name and contact details will be added to the mailing list. If you do not wish to be mailed please let me know. Customers are asked to register so they can be recognized on their return & so you can view back orders.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
If you change your mind you can always return or exchange goods within 28 days of purchase for a refund on the goods as long as the goods are not damaged and we do ask that you email us to let us know. We regret that Items that have been engraved cannot be returned. Delivery charges are not refundable. Returned goods are at the customers’ expense. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
Please ask for proof of postage from the post office for your returned item as I cannot be held responsible for anything that gets lost or damaged in transit. Delivery charge and returned postage will only be refunded if the item is faulty in which case you are entitled to a full refund or replacement.
When returns are received a credit is issued to the card used for the original transaction.
